Our Story

New York City is more than just the location of Saltus LLC headquarters. It’s also our home.
With more than thirty years of experience in the construction industry (and deep roots in our community), our founders established Saltus LLC in 2008 to provide first-rate Documentation and Construction Monitoring Services for all five New York City boroughs and beyond. Their goal: to listen to every client’s concerns and provide relevant, cost-effective solutions for their particular construction project needs.
Recognized by engineers, developers, architects, property owners, building and construction inspectors as the leaders in Vibration Monitoring and Optical Structural Surveying, our stellar reputation for accuracy and excellence has contributed to our continued growth and success.
In addition to our original services, we now offer a wide array of Documentation and Construction Monitoring Services, including Existing Conditions Documentation, Remote Crack Gauge Monitoring, Wireless Tiltmeter Monitoring, Wireless Piezometers and Video Caisson Inspections.
Using innovative state-of-the-art equipment, our certified team of expert field technicians provide clients with highly detailed and precise data, such as the required seismographic and documentation reports, to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and laws, including the Technical Policy and Procedure Notice #10/88 (TPPN 10/88) of the New York City Department of Buildings (NYCDOB).
Now, almost 15 years later, our service area has extended beyond our home base of NYC to include projects in the tri-state area and even Florida.
